Indications

The treatment of beta-hemolytic streptococcal and pneumococcal infections as well as Staphylococcal infections (including those caused by beta-lactamase producing organisms). Amount of medication:

Parenteral Cloxacillin should be administered at once, followed by Cloxacillin orally, when indicated.

The dosage of each drug is determined by the doctor, but the usual

Adults and children weighing more than 20 kg:

250-500 mg every 6 hours.

Maximum intake for adults: 6 grams per day.

Babies and children weighing up to 20 kg: 25 to 50 mg/kg/day into 4 equal doses, administered i.m. or i.v. every 6 hours.

How to take the medicine:

For intramuscular injection, add 1.7 ml and 1.9 ml of sterile water for injection to 250 and 500 mg vials, respectively, and shake until completely dissolved.

For intravenous injection, 250-500 mg vial, 8.4 ml and 9.4 ml, respectively.

Add sterile water for injection and shake until completely dissolved.

After the powder is completely dissolved, if you see foreign particles, do not inject.

For direct intravenous injection, the resulting solution should be injected slowly within 2-4 minutes.

For intravenous infusion, the resulting solutions should be diluted with a suitable solvent such as 0.9% sodium chloride solution for injection or 5% dextrose for injection and infused within 30-40 minutes.
