Pain reliever and antipyretic
Acetaminophen is an analgesic and antipyretic drug that is used to relieve various mild to moderate pains such as headache, back pain, toothache, menstrual pain, and muscle and skeletal pain.
Acetaminophen is in group B during pregnancy. This drug is the drug of choice for the treatment of mild pain and fever during pregnancy and lactation, and so far no problems have been reported from its use in pregnancy.
Tempraphen® 500 with recommended doses has no side effects or causes mild side effects. Unlike aspirin, acetaminophen does not irritate the stomach and does not increase bleeding time. Acetaminophen may rarely cause an allergic reaction. In very rare cases, serious complications such as agranulocytosis, anemia, renal colic, renal failure and thrombocytopenia may occur.
